The treatment explained

Discuss your concern

Loose skin, loss of volume and surface dryness are not the same problem. Ageing, weight changes and other individual factors can affect appearance; assessment should identify what you want to address.

A cream cannot be expected to produce a surgical lift. Non-surgical approaches also have limits, particularly where there is substantial excess skin.

Your clinician will confirm suitability, alternatives, material risks and the most appropriate treatment plan before you decide.
What to expect

Preparing for a consultation

Discuss the concern before considering an intervention.

01 · Before Describe the concern

Bring details of the change, relevant health history, current products and previous procedures.

02 · Consultation Discuss scope and realistic limits

The consultation should establish whether a cosmetic approach is appropriate or further assessment is needed. No procedure is promised.

03 · Next step Make an informed choice

If a cosmetic option is appropriate, review the exact proposal, risks, price and follow-up before deciding. No treatment is a valid choice.

Questions before choosing a cosmetic approach

Consider the specific concern, realistic limits and the actual proposal.

Set a realistic goal

Discuss the area, degree of looseness and changes over time. Ask whether a proposed approach is intended to affect skin texture, modest firmness or something else. These aims should not be presented as interchangeable.

Evaluate the exact procedure

If a device-based procedure is considered, suitability depends on the actual device, area and practitioner assessment. Ask about potential burns, pigment change, scarring or other procedure-specific risks, recovery and likely maintenance.

Avoid automatic treatment combinations

A combination of facials, devices and skincare is not inherently better. Each component should have a clear purpose and an individual risk assessment. The consultation may conclude that no cosmetic procedure is appropriate.

Questions before booking

Frequently asked questions.

Preparation, treatment, recovery, suitability and aftercare guidance to support your consultation.

Can skincare remove excess skin?
No. A moisturiser may change surface appearance, but it should not be described as removing excess skin.
Are non-surgical results equivalent to surgery?
They should not be assumed equivalent. Ask about the degree of change the exact proposal can reasonably achieve.
