At Dr Sknn we use the painless no downtime Hydrafacial Keravive to achieve the scalp & hair renew treatment, the treatment cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates the scalp and hair follicles removing dirt, oil, flakes, dead skin cells and impurities from the surface of the scalp and hair follicles while stimulating scalp circulation. What is the recommended Dr Sknn Scalp & Hair Renew treatment regime?
For best results it is recommended to have a three consecutive month treatment plan with in clinic treatments once per month or sooner, after the three months it is recommended that the maintenance plan occurs a minimum of every six months however optimal results will continue to show with continuous monthly in clinic treatments.

Can I wear hair styling products before the treatment?

Does this treatment interact with any topical medications such as Minoxidil (commonly known as Rogaine) or any natural oils or topical treatments?
There are no known interactions with any topical medications or non–medical topical treatments. The treatment should improve scalp health and help facilitate the delivery of such topicals. If using the take-home spray with other topical medications or treatments, you should first use the take-home spray, then follow with the other topical product.
What shampoo and conditioner is recommended? Is there a type I should avoid?
There are no shampoos or conditioners that need to be avoided. For optimal results, shampoos and conditioners that contain AHA/BHA or exfoliating properties are recommended.
Who are good candidates for the treatment?
