Eyebrow microblading
Microblading is cosmetic tattooing for the appearance of eyebrow strokes. Review the design, pigment, risks and possibility of lasting colour before deciding.

What treatment planning should establish.
These four points support treatment planning. The detailed guide below covers this treatment.

A considered choice about brow tattooing

Microblading places pigment into the skin to create the appearance of fine brow strokes. It does not grow eyebrow hair or treat the cause of hair loss.
The final colour and shape may differ from the initial appearance. Perfect symmetry, a particular finish or a fixed lifespan cannot be guaranteed. Although often called semi-permanent, pigment can persist for years.
From consultation to follow-up
Make an informed choice based on your actual proposal.
01 · Consultation Discuss suitability
Explain your goals, relevant health history, medicines, allergies and previous procedures. Ask about the exact cosmetic tattoo proposal, alternatives and material risks.
02 · Decision Review the plan before proceeding
Confirm the practitioner, clinic, full price and proposed treatment area. A booking does not replace the suitability assessment or your consent.
03 · Follow-up Follow your written aftercare
Use the instructions for your individual procedure. Confirm how to contact the clinic about concerns and when a review is appropriate.

Questions before deciding
Review the proposed procedure, realistic limits and aftercare.
Design and practitioner assessment
Discuss the proposed shape and colour before giving consent. Ask about the practitioner’s relevant training, hygiene procedures, pigment and experience with your skin. Tell them about allergies, skin problems, medicines and previous tattooing.
Risks and limitations
Risks include infection, allergic reactions, scarring and an unwanted or uneven colour or shape. Reactions can occur despite careful hygiene. Pain and swelling vary; a numbing product does not make the procedure risk-free.
Healing and future choices
Follow the written aftercare supplied for your procedure. Review healing before deciding on further pigment. A top-up is another procedure, with its own risks and costs; it is not automatically required.
Changing your mind
Removal may be difficult, incomplete or cause further skin changes. Do not choose microblading on the assumption that pigment will fade completely or that laser can reliably reverse it. Temporary brow makeup and no treatment remain alternatives.
