Belly fat and body contouring for men
A change in the appearance of your abdomen is different from a goal to change your overall weight. Describe whether your concern is a local visible bulge, loose skin, your general size or a new unexplained change. A picture or the label “stubborn belly fat” cannot determine what is causing the appearance or which appointment is appropriate.
Local contour or overall weight?
Cosmetic body contouring does not produce weight loss or its health benefits. It should not be presented as treatment for internal abdominal fat or as a way to prevent heart disease or diabetes. This guide does not prescribe a diet or exercise plan, and a cosmetic booking is not confirmation that Dr Sknn offers a weight-management programme.
An individual assessment
For a local cosmetic concern, an assessment should establish what is being considered and whether the exact device and applicator are intended for that area. Discuss relevant health history, medicines, implants, previous abdominal procedures and any symptoms. Unexpected swelling, pain or another unexplained change needs suitable healthcare assessment before cosmetic treatment is considered.
Risks, limits and aftercare
Body-contouring risks vary by method. Pain, redness, swelling, bruising and lumps may occur; certain technologies can cause burns, altered sensation or scarring. Review the full risks, alternatives, preparation, aftercare and follow-up for the proposed procedure. No flat stomach in a week, fixed reduction, painless experience or permanent result is promised. Ask what the entire course would cost before deciding.
Clinic, practitioner and consultation fees

Common questions
What is doctor-led planning?
It is a consultation-led approach where your goals, medical history, suitability, treatment options, recovery and aftercare are reviewed before a plan is confirmed.
How much is a consultation?
Consultations are free. A £50 reservation fee secures an appointment with a doctor, nurse or qualified practitioner. The booking journey shows any payment or card protection and the applicable cancellation and rescheduling terms before confirmation.
Can I book without knowing which treatment I need?
Yes. You can start with a consultation and the team will guide you through suitable options for your skin, face, body or hair goals.
Are results guaranteed?
No. Results vary between individuals. Your clinician will explain realistic expectations, risks, downtime and maintenance before treatment.
