How Much Cheek Filler? Assessment Before Volume | Dr Sknn

How much cheek filler might be considered?

There is no standard amount of cheek filler for a face or an age group. The question starts with what you want to change: a visible hollow, a flatter cheek contour, an asymmetry or simply a different look. A clinician must assess the area and the product before discussing whether an injection, another option or no procedure is appropriate.

Why is there no universal number of millilitres?

Facial proportions, existing volume, previous treatment, skin and the particular product all affect a plan. A photograph or online chart cannot show how an individual face will respond. More filler is not automatically better; excessive volume can change the face in an unwanted way. A conservative plan may involve a staged discussion, but no quantity or number of visits should be promised in advance.

Does the price tell me how much I need?

A price per syringe or package is not a personal recommendation. Ask which product and amount are being proposed, what the quoted fee covers, and what happens if you decide against treatment. Our cheek-filler effects guide explains how an appearance change may vary. The current booking app, rather than a generic article, should be used to confirm any available service and price.

What risks belong in the decision?

Bruising, tenderness, swelling and an uneven appearance can occur. Infection or a delayed lump is possible. Rare injection into or compression of a blood vessel can cause skin injury or visual harm. Seek urgent assessment for severe or increasing pain, pale or dusky skin, or visual symptoms after an injection. An injector should explain the relevant product, area, alternatives and complication response before you decide. A result or recovery time cannot be guaranteed.

How do I ask about suitability at Dr Sknn?

Dr Sknn is an independent private aesthetics and cosmetics clinic. Wilmslow is our primary clinic, Didsbury is active, and Leigh is closed. Doctor, Nurse and Qualified Practitioner consultations are free; a separate £50 reservation fee applies to Doctor bookings. The Dr Sknn booking app shows the exact service, clinic, eligible practitioner, price and applicable cancellation and rescheduling terms. A consultation does not imply that cheek filler is suitable or offered by every practitioner at every clinic.
