Forehead lines in men

A consultation to discuss your forehead lines, skincare and preferences, with individual advice about suitability and realistic expectations.

Forehead lines are a normal feature of facial expression and ageing. You may notice them when raising your eyebrows, when your face is relaxed, or both. Whether they bother you is a personal choice; having lines does not mean that you need treatment.

An individual assessment

Your clinician can discuss what you would like to change, how your forehead looks at rest and during expression, your current skincare, sensitivities and previous procedures. Your medical history and any medicines also matter when assessing suitability.

There is no single plan for all men. Skin characteristics, preferences and acceptable recovery time differ. A consultation does not commit you to a procedure.

Everyday skincare

A gentle routine, moisturiser and sun protection are useful starting points. Choose broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher and follow its directions, alongside shade and protective clothing.

Moisturiser may make some fine lines less noticeable, but skincare cannot promise to erase established forehead lines. Introducing several strong products together can irritate your skin. Discuss a routine that you can use comfortably and consistently.

Understanding your options

There is no universally best cream or procedure for forehead wrinkles. Ask what an option could reasonably change, what it cannot change, and what evidence supports it for your particular concern.

If a procedure is considered, its risks, alternatives, expected recovery, costs and any maintenance should be explained before you decide. Results vary; no outcome or permanent removal of lines is guaranteed. Choosing skincare alone or no treatment remains an option.
