Teoxane and Teosyal Filler: Product Questions | Dr Sknn

Teoxane and Teosyal filler: questions to ask

Teoxane is a manufacturer, and Teosyal is a range of hyaluronic-acid dermal fillers. A brand is not a single treatment. Products differ, and the right choice depends on the exact area, intended change, product information and individual assessment. This page is a brand-information guide, not a statement that Dr Sknn currently stocks or offers every Teosyal product.

What can the brand name tell me?

It can identify a manufacturer and product range, but it cannot tell you which formulation, injection area, amount or outcome is appropriate. It does not mean a lip, cheek, nose, jaw or under-eye procedure is available at your clinic. Ask the clinician to name the exact product and explain why its intended use and risks fit the proposed area. Our related filler-materials guide explains why different filler materials and products should not be treated as interchangeable.

What results and duration are realistic?

A selected filler may change volume or contour, but no product guarantees a natural-looking or youthful result. Swelling may affect the early appearance; visible effects and their duration vary. Product-specific manufacturer estimates are not a personal guarantee, and a repeat procedure should follow reassessment rather than a fixed schedule.

What risks need discussion?

Bruising, swelling, tenderness, asymmetry, infection and nodules can occur. Unintended injection into a blood vessel can cause serious injury. Before consent, ask about the exact product, the treated area, aftercare, follow-up and what to do if a complication occurs. Seek urgent assessment for severe or increasing pain, pale or dusky skin, or visual symptoms during or after filler. A new or changing health symptom needs appropriate healthcare assessment rather than a cosmetic booking.

How do I check current availability?

Dr Sknn is an independent private aesthetics and cosmetics clinic. Wilmslow is our primary clinic, Didsbury is active, and Leigh is closed. Doctor, Nurse and Qualified Practitioner consultations are free; a separate £50 reservation fee applies to Doctor bookings. The Dr Sknn booking app shows the exact service, clinic, eligible practitioner and applicable cancellation and rescheduling terms. Confirm the specific product with the clinic; this article alone does not establish product, area or practitioner availability. If the exact option is absent, contact the clinic rather than booking a different service as a substitute.
