Fine red lines, an isolated red spot and a wider patch of redness are different concerns. Describing a line as a blood vessel does not establish its cause or make it suitable for IPL.
Describe what you can see
Bring details of the area, when the lines appeared and whether their appearance changes. Explain any discomfort, swelling, bleeding, previous procedures or product reactions. Photographs can help describe a change, but cannot confirm a diagnosis.
Choose information that matches the concern
For an assessed superficial vessel, a cosmetic discussion should focus on that vessel and its site. Larger or symptomatic leg veins need a different assessment. A red line should not be treated as a spider naevus, rosacea or a scar just because it looks similar.

Ask what the proposed device is intended to address and why it is appropriate for the assessed concern. The skin, location, medical history and exact method all matter. A patch test, where indicated, does not guarantee a risk-free procedure or a particular result.
What a proposal should explain
Discuss realistic improvement, possible persistence or recurrence, discomfort, recovery and material risks. Depending on the method, these may include burns, pigment change or scarring. Leaving an assessed benign feature alone is also an option.
