This system is also employed by the NHS and private hospitals across the UK, to treat Cherry Spots effectively and safely on skin types I-IV. By emitting light of certain wavelength ranges, at Dr Sknn we can target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, giving us the ability to treat Cherry Spots of different sizes and depths, while causing minimum damage to the nearby skin. After the process, the damaged vessels are taken in by the body and hardly any trace of the initial lesion is left.

At Dr Sknn, by means of IPL, we take advantage of light energy. The light is consumed by the Cherry Spots, causing them to heat up to the point that they contract and/or collapse, sealing them. In the coming weeks, the harmed veins are naturally assimilated by the body, leaving little to no evidence of the original sore.
