At Dr Sknn, we conduct a comprehensive consultation that includes a medical history, physical examination, and photographs, prior to administering Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. During this consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions you may have about the treatment, as well as your expectations for the results. We will also provide you with information about post-treatment care and any risks associated with the procedure, ensuring that you fully understand everything before signing a consent form. In cases where a new area is being treated, a small patch test will be conducted to determine suitability. For those with a skin type of III or higher, a topical serum or product may be required for four weeks before treatment. Our top priority is your safety and eligibility for treatment. As everyone is different, we take the time to perform a full consultation and patch test before proceeding with the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. If successful, the treatment will be administered 48 hours after the patch test. Please note that patch testing may be extended to two weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history.
