If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For patients with skin type of III+, a topical application of serum may be needed for four weeks prior to treatment. Once deemed suitable for treatment, a patch test will be performed, and if successful, the treatment will be administered after 48 hours. However, if certain medications were found during your medical history, the patch testing may be extended to two weeks.
