At Dr Skn, a consultation will be conducted prior to the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. This consultation includes a thorough medical history and physical examination, along with photographs. During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have. Before the treatment, we will discuss post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment to ensure that you fully understand them. A consent form will also be signed. If it is the first time that you are treating a specific area, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. Safety and eligibility for the treatment are of the highest priority at Dr Skn. Therefore, a full consultation and patch test will be conducted prior to the treatment to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III+, a topical application of serum may be required four weeks before the treatment. Following a successful patch test, the treatment will be delivered within 48 hours, but if certain medications are found during your medical history, the patch test may be extended to two weeks.
