If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III or above, a topical application of serum or product may be needed for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility to treatment is of utmost importance at Dr Skn, and a full consultation is conducted to determine suitability for the treatment. Following a successful patch test, the treatment can be delivered after 48 hours. However, patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history.
