Fractional CO2 Laser Shevington

At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment suitable for all skin types. This treatment can be used on the face, neck, décolleté and body areas to promote the production of new skin. The Fractional CO2 Laser treatment stimulates new skin growth within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. Our mid-infrared CO2 laser, specifically designed for this purpose, emits precise laser emissions in a methodical even pattern with spacing between each emission. The spare tissue in-between leads to a faster healing process. This treatment is effective in treating various aesthetic concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. By improving skin pigmentation, minimising pores, reducing premature ageing, hyperplasia, sun damage, lines, wrinkles, and skin complexion, the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment results in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin. Additionally, the dermis and epidermis thickness and hydration improve, resulting in a more beautiful and youthful appearance.

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Fractional CO2 Laser

At Dr Skn, before undergoing Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a thorough consultation will be carried out. This will include a medical history review, a physical examination, and photographs. During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, or questions you may have regarding the treatment. Additionally, any post-treatment advice and potential risks will be discussed to ensure that you fully understand them before signing a consent form. If the treatment is being applied to a new area, a small patch test will be conducted to determine its suitability. For those with skin types III+, a topical serum may be required for 4 weeks prior to the treatment. Safety and eligibility are our top priorities, and therefore, we conduct a full consultation and patch test to determine suitability. If all goes well, the treatment can be delivered after 48 hours post-patch testing. However, if you are taking certain medications, the patch testing period may be extended to two weeks. Similarly, if you have skin type III+, a topical product may be required for 4 weeks before the treatment.
