Dr Sknn are pleased to have access to the Lynton Lumina, a cutting-edge Intense Pulsed Light System (IPL) that is also in use by NHS facilities and private hospitals across the UK. This technology is employed to treat Neck Redness safely and effectively on skin types ranging from I to IV. Utilising light of different wavelength ranges, we are able to target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin while minimising damage to the surrounding skin, allowing us to treat Neck Redness of various sizes and depths. Following treatment, the damaged vessels are absorbed by the body and very little evidence of the initial lesion remains.

At Dr Sknn, with IPL, we exploit light energy, the light is consumed by the Neck Redness and they are heated to a degree where they go into spasm and/or collapse and seal. In the ensuing weeks, the ruined vessels are absorbed by the body and no hint of the original lesion is left.
