At Dr Sknn we employ the Lynton Lumina, a sophisticated Intense Pulsed Light System (IPL), regularly used by the NHS and private hospitals across Britain, to safely and competently treat Red Chest on skin types I-IV. At Dr Sknn, by releasing light in a certain wavelength ranges, we target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, enabling us to treat Red Chest of various sizes and depths while causing minimal damage to the surrounding skin. After treatment, the impaired vessels are absorbed by the body and little or no indication of the initial lesion is left.

At Dr Sknn, with IPL, we employ light energy, which is absorbed by the Red Chest and heated to a point of spasm and/or collapse, thus shutting them off. Over the future weeks, the damaged vessels are taken in naturally by the body, with little or no reminder of the original blemish.
