CO2 fractional ablative laser is a laser treatment used to improve the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This type of laser works by removing a fraction of the skin's surface to stimulate collagen production and enhance skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into numerous micro-columns that are delivered to the affected area. CO2 fractional ablative laser is commonly used to treat wrinkles, skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, and other skin irregularities. It is also effective in improving the appearance of stretch marks and laxity in the skin. This non-invasive procedure does not require any downtime and can be safely used on any area of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. The results of this treatment can last for several months and are usually visible within a few weeks. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser that stimulates new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. This specific mid-infrared CO2 laser is used to treat fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. The treatment improves skin pigmentation, pore minimisation, premature ageing, skin hyperplasia, sun-damaged skin, lines, wrinkles, and skin complexion. Ultimately, it results in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin. The tissue in

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Ablative Laser Resurfacing

When you visit Dr Skn for a consultation regarding Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, you will undergo a thorough medical history review, physical examination, and photography session. This is also a good opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions you may have about the treatment, as well as your expectations for results. Before undergoing the treatment, you will be informed of any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the procedure to ensure that you fully understand them. Additionally, a consent form will be signed prior to the procedure. If this is your first time being treated in a particular area, a small patch test will be conducted to determine the suitability of the treatment. For those with skin types of III+, a topical serum may be required for four weeks prior to the treatment. Safety and eligibility for treatment are top priorities at Dr Skn, and a full consultation will be conducted to determine if you are a suitable candidate for the treatment. If you are found to be eligible, a patch test will be conducted before the treatment can proceed. The patch test results will be evaluated 48 hours after the test, and if successful, the treatment can commence. It's important to note that the patch test period may be extended to two weeks if any medications were found during your medical history review. If you have skin type III+, a topical product may also be required for four weeks prior to the treatment.
