CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment that is commonly used to enhance the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This procedure involves targeting and removing a fraction of the skin's surface to stimulate collagen production and improve overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is divided into numerous tiny micro-columns, which are then directed to the affected area to achieve the desired results. CO2 fractional ablative laser treatment is effective for treating a range of skin problems, including wrinkles, skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, and other irregularities. It is also useful in improving the appearance of stretch marks and skin laxity. Unlike other laser treatments, this non-invasive procedure does not require any downtime and is both safe and effective in reducing the appearance of wrinkles and skin irregularities while improving skin tone and texture. This laser treatment is applicable to all areas of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms, and the results can typically be seen within a few weeks, lasting for several months. At Dr Sknn, we provide an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment for the face, neck, décolleté, and body areas, stimulating new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effects that are delivered

Doctor Led Ablative Laser Resurfacing Crewe - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Ablative Laser Resurfacing

When you visit Dr Skn for a Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, your medical history and physical examination, along with photographs, will be taken during the consultation. This is also an opportunity for you to discuss any concerns or expectations you may have about the treatment. Prior to undergoing the treatment, you will be informed about the post-treatment advice and risks associated with it, and a consent form will be signed after ensuring that you fully understand them. If it is the first time that you are getting the treatment on a particular area, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III+, you may need a topical application of serum for four weeks before the treatment. At Dr Skn, safety and eligibility for treatment are of the highest priority, and therefore, a full consultation and patch test will be performed to determine suitability for the treatment. Following a successful patch test, the treatment can be delivered after 48 hours. Please note that if you are taking certain medications, the patch testing may be extended to two weeks. Additionally, if your skin type is III+, a topical product application may be required four weeks before the treatment.
