CO2 fractional ablative laser is a laser treatment that is commonly used to enhance the appearance of skin irregularities such as wrinkles and scars. This particular laser treatment works by targeting and eliminating a small fraction of the skin's surface to promote collagen production and improve overall skin texture and tone. The laser beam is divided into numerous micro-columns which are then directed to the affected area. CO2 fractional ablative laser is a non-invasive treatment that doesn't require downtime and is effective in treating skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, and stretch marks. This type of laser treatment can be used on any part of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. The outcomes of this procedure are usually noticeable within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we use an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser to stimulate new skin production, resulting in a quicker healing process and improved skin hydration and thickness. We use this specific mid-infrared CO2 laser to treat a range of aesthetic issues, including fine lines, wrinkles, pigmented lesions, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. Ultimately, this treatment improves skin complexion and results in a healthy, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin, making it suitable for all skin types.

Doctor Led Ablative Laser Resurfacing Eccles - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Ablative Laser Resurfacing

When you visit Dr Sknn for a consultation regarding Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a thorough medical history and physical examination, including photographs, will be conducted to determine your suitability for the treatment. During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns or expectations you may have, and any questions you may need answers to. The risks and post-treatment advice associated with the treatment will also be discussed to ensure that you fully understand the procedure, and a consent form will be signed. In cases where it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure that the treatment is suitable for you. It is important to note that if your skin type is III+, a topical application of serum may be necessary for 4 weeks before treatment. At Dr Sknn, safety and eligibility for the treatment are the top priority, which is why a full consultation and patch test will be performed before the treatment. If you are found to be eligible and the patch test is successful, the treatment will be administered 48 hours after the patch test. However, the patch testing period may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications are found during your medical history. Similarly, if you have skin type III+, a topical product application may be necessary for 4 weeks before treatment.
