CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment that is used to enhance the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This laser targets and removes a fraction of the skin's surface to stimulate collagen production and improve overall skin tone and texture. By splitting the laser beam into thousands of micro-columns, it delivers precise treatment to the affected area. This non-invasive procedure is effective in treating age spots, acne scars, skin discoloration, and stretch marks, among other skin irregularities. It is also useful in improving the laxity and appearance of the skin. Unlike other laser treatments, the CO2 fractional ablative laser does not require any downtime. It is a safe and effective way to reduce wrinkles and improve skin texture and tone on any part of the body. The results are noticeable within a few weeks and can last for months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser that stimulates new skin production in the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect, resulting in faster healing. Our specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm treats a range of aesthetic concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, pigmented lesions, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, and loose skin. This laser treatment improves skin complexion and hydration, ultimately resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance. It is suitable for all skin types, making it an excellent option for anyone looking to improve their skin's appearance.

Doctor Led Ablative Laser Resurfacing Lymm - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Ablative Laser Resurfacing

At Dr Skn, our consultations for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment involve a thorough medical history and physical examination, which may include photographs. This allows us to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have, as well as providing you with post-treatment advice and discussing the risks associated with the procedure to ensure you fully understand them. If you are new to the treatment or it's a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure its suitability for your skin. For those with skin types of III+, a topical serum or product may be required for four weeks prior to the treatment. Safety and eligibility are our top priority, which is why we perform a full consultation and patch test before any treatment, as everyone is different and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Successful patch tests will allow us to proceed with the treatment 48 hours after, but please note that if certain medications were found during your medical history, the patch testing may be extended up to two weeks.
