At Dr Sknn, a consultation will be carried out which includes a comprehensive medical history, physical examination, and photographs, before undergoing Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. This is an opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have. The post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment will also be discussed, and a consent form will be signed to ensure full understanding. Additionally, a small patch test will be conducted for new treatment areas to ensure suitability. If your skin type is determined to be III+, a topical application of serum may be required for four weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility for treatment are the top priorities at Dr Sknn, and therefore, a full consultation will be conducted to determine suitability, followed by a patch test to confirm eligibility. After a successful patch test, the treatment can be delivered within 48 hours. However, if any medications are found during your medical history, the patch testing period may be extended to two weeks. If your skin type is III+, a topical product may be needed for four weeks prior to treatment.
