During this consultation, we will take a detailed medical history and perform a physical examination, which may include photographs. We will also provide an opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have. We will explain any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment, ensuring that you fully understand them before signing a consent form. If it is a new area being treated, we will perform a small patch test to ensure suitability. For those with a skin type of III or above, we may recommend a topical application of serum for four weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility for treatment are our top priorities, so we will perform a full consultation and patch test before delivering the treatment. Please note that patch testing may be extended up to two weeks if certain medications are found during your medical history. Additionally, a topical application of product may be needed for four weeks prior to treatment for those with a skin type of III or above.
