CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment that is commonly used to enhance the appearance of skin by reducing wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. The treatment works by directing a fraction of the laser beam to remove the skin's surface and promote collagen production, ultimately improving skin tone and texture. It is effective in treating wrinkles, skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, stretch marks, and laxity in the skin. What sets this laser treatment apart from others is its non-invasive nature, which requires no downtime, making it a safe and effective option for those seeking to reduce the appearance of skin irregularities. The CO2 fractional ablative laser treatment can be performed on any part of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. The results of this procedure are typically visible within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser for various body parts, including the face, neck, and décolleté, to stimulate new skin production. Our treatment delivers a methodical and even pattern of laser emission, sparing the tissue in-between and resulting in a faster healing process. Using a specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm, we can address a range of aesthetic concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. Doctor Led Ablative Laser Resurfacing Stretford - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Ablative Laser Resurfacing

At Dr Sknn, we begin the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment process with a comprehensive consultation, which includes a medical history and physical examination, along with photographs. During this time, we encourage our patients to discuss any concerns or questions they may have, as well as their expectations and desired results. We also take the opportunity to discuss any risks associated with the treatment and provide post-treatment advice. If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure the suitability of the treatment. In cases where the patient has a skin type of III+, a topical application of serum or product may be necessary for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are our highest priorities, and therefore, we perform a full consultation to ensure the patient is a suitable candidate for the treatment. A patch test is also conducted prior to the treatment, and if it is successful, we proceed with the treatment after 48 hours. However, in certain cases where medications are found during the medical history, the patch testing period may be extended up to 2 weeks.
