When you visit Dr Skn for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a comprehensive consultation will take place where your medical history will be reviewed and a physical examination will be conducted along with photographs. During this consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns, expectations, results, and ask any questions you may have. Prior to treatment, any potential risks and post-treatment advice will be discussed with you in order to ensure that you fully understand the procedure, and a consent form will be signed. In the event that this is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III or higher, a topical serum may be required for four weeks before the treatment can begin.
