At Dr Sknn, we provide a sophisticated Fractional CO2 Laser treatment to substantially enhance the aesthetics of acne scarring. This therapy stimulates the growth of fresh skin in the dermis and epidermis via ablation and thermal effect. The laser is administered in a meticulous, consistent pattern with spaced-out pulses, preserving the tissue in-between and allowing for a quicker healing period. Our particular mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm is outstanding in treating acne scars, decreasing the look of skin surface irregularities and undesired scars. This treatment can improve skin thickness and hydration, leading to a healthier and more youthful complexion. With our advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, we can assist you in achieving smoother, more even-toned skin and boosting your confidence.

Doctor Led Acne Scarring Altrincham - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Acne Scarring

At Dr Sknn, a comprehensive consultation will be held prior to CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment, covering your medical history, physical examination and photographs. This gives you the opportunity to raise any questions, expectations, results or worries you may possess. Prior to the treatment, any potential risks and advice following CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment will be detailed and a consent form signed to ensure you fully understand the process. On the initial treatment, a small patch test will be done to assess its suitability. Additionally, should your skin type be identified as III+, a topical serum may have to be used for four weeks in advance of the treatment to ready the skin. At Dr Sknn, safety and appropriateness for the procedure are of utmost importance and a complete consultation will be conducted to determine if you are eligible for CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment. Once a successful patch test has been conducted following 48 hours, the treatment can be performed. However, if some medications are present in your medical history, the patch test period may be prolonged up to two weeks. If your skin type is III+, a topical product may be needed for four weeks prior to the treatment.
