At Dr Sknn, we provide a modern Fractional CO2 Laser treatment which can make a huge difference to the look of acne scarring. This procedure stimulates fresh skin growth in both the epidermis and dermis through ablation and thermal impact. The laser is administered in an exact, uniform pattern with spaced-out pulses, preserving the tissue in between and allowing for a more direct healing period. Our mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm is particularly successful in treating acne scars, reducing the visibility of skin surface issues and undesired scars. This treatment can augment skin thickness and humidity, resulting in a healthier and more youthful complexion. With our refined Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, we can help you in achieving smoother, more even-toned skin and reinstalling your self-assurance.

Doctor Led Acne Scars Treatment Timbersbrook - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Acne Scars Treatment

At Dr Sknn, prior to CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment, a comprehensive consultation will be held discussing your medical history together with a physical examination and photographs. This provides you with the opportunity to raise any queries, expectations, outcomes or worries you may have. Before the treatment, any potential risks and post-treatment advice relating to CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment will be outlined in detail and a consent form will be signed to ensure you understand the process fully. When the area is being treated for the first time, a small patch test will be conducted to check its suitability. Moreover, if your skin type is identified as III+, a topical serum might need to be used for four weeks ahead of the treatment to prepare the skin. At Dr Sknn, safety and appropriateness for the procedure are primary and a full consultation will be conducted to assess if you are eligible for CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment. After a successful patch test following 48 hours, the treatment may be undertaken. However, if specified medications are present in your medical history, the patch testing period could be extended up to two weeks. If your skin type is III+, a topical product may be necessary for four weeks prior to the treatment.
