CO2 fractional ablative laser is a laser treatment used to improve the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This type of laser works by removing a fraction of the skin's surface to stimulate collagen production and improve overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into thousands of tiny micro-columns that are delivered to the affected area. It's a non-invasive procedure that can be used on any area of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. Unlike other laser treatments, it doesn't require any downtime and is safe and effective. The CO2 fractional ablative laser can treat wrinkles, skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, and other skin irregularities. It's also effective in improving the appearance of stretch marks and laxity in the skin. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser that allows for new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. This laser treatment can improve fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. By improving the thickness and hydration of the dermis and epidermis, the laser treatment results in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin.

Doctor Led C02 Laser Bollington - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for C02 Laser

At Dr Skn, a thorough consultation will be carried out which includes taking your medical history, conducting a physical examination, and capturing photographs, all in order to determine your suitability for the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to express your concerns, expectations, and ask any questions you may have. The risks associated with the treatment and post-treatment advice will be discussed to ensure that you fully understand the procedure and a consent form will be signed. If this is the first time you are undergoing the treatment, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure the treatment is suitable for you. For individuals with skin type III+, a topical serum may be required four weeks prior to the treatment. At Dr Skn, safety is paramount, and therefore, a full consultation is required before the treatment to determine eligibility. Following successful patch tests, the treatment will be administered within 48 hours. However, if any medications are found during the medical history that may affect the treatment, the patch testing period may be extended up to two weeks. Additionally, individuals with skin type III+ may require a topical product application for four weeks prior to the treatment.
