CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment used to improve the appearance of various skin irregularities such as wrinkles, scars, and discoloration. This laser treatment stimulates collagen production and enhances overall skin tone and texture by targeting and removing a fraction of the skin's surface. The laser beam splits into numerous tiny micro-columns, which are then delivered to the affected area. This safe and effective procedure is non-invasive, doesn't require downtime, and can be used on any part of the body. It is ideal for treating fine lines, wrinkles, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. At Dr Sknn, we offer advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatments for the face, neck, décolleté, and body areas. Our specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm enables us to deliver ablation and thermal effects over the skin in a methodical pattern with precise spacing between each laser emission. The spare tissue in-between ensures a faster healing process, resulting in new skin production within the dermis and epidermis. Ultimately, this treatment improves skin thickness and hydration, resulting in a healthier, youthful, and glowing appearance. The results are usually seen within a few weeks and can last for several months. This treatment is suitable for all skin types.

Doctor Led C02 Laser Cheadle - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for C02 Laser

At Dr Sknn, we take safety and eligibility to treatment seriously, especially when it comes to procedures such as Fractional CO2 Laser. During the consultation, which includes a medical history and physical examination with photographs, we prioritize discussing any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have. We also provide detailed post-treatment advice and discuss the associated risks, ensuring that you fully understand them before signing a consent form. If the treatment involves a new area, we will perform a small patch test to ensure suitability. For those with skin types III+, a topical serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. We do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach, so eligibility will be determined during the consultation and a patch test will be performed prior to treatment. Following a successful patch test, we can deliver the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment after 48 hours. However, if certain medications were found during your medical history, the patch testing period may be extended up to 2 weeks.
