At Dr Skn, a consultation will be conducted to obtain your medical history, perform a physical examination which may include photographs, and provide an opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have regarding the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. Before the treatment, the associated risks and post-treatment advice will be discussed with you to ensure you fully understand them and a consent form will be signed. If it's a new treatment area, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III+, a serum or product may be required for four weeks prior to the treatment. Safety and eligibility are of utmost importance, therefore, a full consultation and patch test will be performed to ensure suitability for the treatment. Following a successful patch test, the treatment can be delivered after 48 hours. However, patch testing may be extended to two weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history.
