When you visit Dr Sknn for a Fractional CO2 Laser consultation, a comprehensive medical history and physical examination will be conducted, including photographs. You will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or queries during the consultation. The risks associated with the treatment and any post-treatment advice will be discussed beforehand, and you will be asked to sign a consent form. If you are having a new area treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. At Dr Sknn, your safety and suitability for treatment is of utmost importance. As such, a full consultation and patch test will be conducted to ensure your eligibility for treatment. In the case of skin type III+, a topical serum or product may be required four weeks prior to the treatment.
