At Dr Skn, our priority is to ensure the safety and eligibility of our clients for the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. During the initial consultation, which includes a medical history and physical examination with photographs, any concerns, expectations, or questions will be discussed. The risks and post-treatment advice will also be explained in detail, and a consent form will be signed. If it is the first time treating a new area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For clients with skin type III or higher, a topical application of serum may be required for 4 weeks before treatment. Our team takes a tailored approach to each client, and we will only proceed with the treatment if it is deemed safe and appropriate after the consultation and patch test. Following a successful patch test, the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment can be administered after 48 hours, but if certain medications are discovered during the medical history, the patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks.
