CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment used to enhance the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. By targeting and removing a fraction of the skin surface, this laser stimulates collagen production and improves overall skin tone and texture. Thousands of tiny micro-columns are created and delivered to the affected area to treat skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, and other irregularities, as well as improve the appearance of stretch marks and skin laxity. This non-invasive laser treatment is safe and effective for all skin types and can be used on any body part. Unlike other laser treatments, there is no downtime required for this procedure. At Dr Sknn, we offer advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment for face, neck, décolleté, and body areas, using a specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm. This treatment addresses a variety of aesthetic concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, and unwanted scars. It also helps improve pitting of the skin, pigmentation, pore minimisation, premature ageing, skin hyperplasia, sun-damaged skin, lines, wrinkles, and skin complexion. This methodical and even pattern with precise spacing between each laser emission spares tissue in-between resulting in a faster healing process. Ultimately, the treatment improves the thickness and hydration of the dermis and epidermis, resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin.

Doctor Led C02 Laser Mere - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for C02 Laser

At Dr Skn, we offer consultations for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, during which a comprehensive medical history and physical examination, including photographs, will be taken. This consultation provides an opportunity for patients to discuss any concerns or expectations they may have, as well as ask any questions about the treatment and its potential results. Before undergoing the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, our team will discuss the post-treatment advice and any potential risks associated with the procedure to ensure you are fully informed, and a consent form will be signed. Additionally, if you are a new patient or a new area is being treated, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. If you have a skin type of III or above, a topical application of serum or product may be required for four weeks prior to the treatment. At Dr Skn, our top priority is the safety and eligibility of our patients, and as such, we perform full consultations and patch tests to determine the suitability of Fractional CO2 Laser treatment for each individual. Successful patch tests will enable us to deliver the treatment after 48 hours, although the patch testing period may be extended to two weeks in certain circumstances, such as if certain medications are found during the medical history review.
