CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment used to enhance the appearance of skin irregularities such as wrinkles and scars. This laser works by targeting and removing a fraction of the skin's surface to stimulate collagen production, ultimately improving skin tone and texture. The laser beam is divided into numerous tiny micro-columns, which are then delivered to the affected area. This treatment is commonly used for wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, skin discoloration, stretch marks, and skin laxity. Unlike other laser treatments, CO2 fractional ablative laser is non-invasive and doesn't require any downtime. It's a safe and effective way to reduce skin irregularities and improve skin texture and tone on any part of the body. Results of this procedure are usually visible within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser that can be used on the face, neck, décolleté, and body areas. This laser treatment allows new skin production to be stimulated within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect delivered over the skin in a methodical even pattern with precise spacing between each laser emission. We use a specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm to treat various aesthetic concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. The procedure improves skin complexion, ultimately resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin by improving the thickness and hydration of the dermis and epidermis. This treatment is suitable for all skin types.

Doctor Led C02 Laser Mobberley - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for C02 Laser

At Dr Skn, a comprehensive medical history and physical examination will be conducted, along with photographs, during your consultation for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. This is your opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results, or queries you may have, and to receive advice on post-treatment care and any risks associated with the procedure. If this is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. In addition, if your skin type is III+, you may require a topical application of serum for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are paramount, and a full consultation will be carried out before any treatment is administered, including a patch test to ensure compatibility. Successful patch testing will allow treatment to commence within 48 hours, but this may be extended to 2 weeks if specific medications were identified during your medical history. Prior to treatment, those with skin type III+ may need to apply a product topically for 4 weeks.
