At Dr Skn, your consultation for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment will begin with a thorough medical history and physical examination, including photographs. You will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns or expectations you may have regarding the treatment, and any questions you may need answering. Our team will ensure you fully understand any post-treatment advice and the potential risks involved, before obtaining your signed consent form. In case of a new treatment area, a small patch test will be carried out to ensure the treatment is suitable for you. For patients with a skin type of III+, a topical serum or product may be required 4 weeks before the treatment to achieve optimal results. Our top priority is your safety and eligibility for the treatment, hence a patch test will be performed to ensure the treatment is suitable for you. Successful patch testing will allow us to proceed with the treatment within 48 hours, however, if certain medications are found during your medical history, the patch testing may be extended up to 2 weeks.
