This is also an opportunity for you to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have, and for the clinician to discuss any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment, ensuring that you have a full understanding before signing a consent form. If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test may be performed to ensure suitability. For skin types of III+, a topical serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment.
