At Dr Skn, we provide consultations for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment where we conduct a thorough medical history and physical examination including photographs. Our consultations offer an opportunity for you to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have. We also discuss post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment to ensure that you are fully informed before signing a consent form. In cases of a new area being treated, a small patch test is performed to ensure suitability. Safety and eligibility for treatment are our top priorities, therefore a full consultation is performed before any treatment, and a patch test is conducted to determine suitability. Following successful patch tests after 48 hours, we can proceed with the treatment, however, the patch test may be extended to two weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history. If you have a skin type of III+, a topical application of product may be necessary for four weeks prior to treatment.
