CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment used to improve the appearance of various skin irregularities, such as wrinkles and scars. This laser treatment targets and removes a fraction of the surface of the skin, stimulating collagen production to enhance skin tone and texture. The laser beam is divided into numerous micro-columns and delivered to the affected area. This non-invasive procedure can be used to treat wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, skin discoloration, stretch marks, and laxity in the skin. It is a safe and effective way to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other skin irregularities, and it can be used on any part of the body. Results are typically seen within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment for the face, neck, décolleté, and body areas. Our specific mid-infrared CO2 laser, with a wavelength of 10,600 nm, promotes new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. This laser treatment can improve skin texture, fine lines, wrinkles, pigmented lesions, dyschromia, sun damage, enlarged pores, unwanted scars, and loose skin. It can also minimize pores, improve skin hydration and thickness, and enhance skin complexion, resulting in a healthy, youthful appearance. The methodical and precise spacing between each laser emission spares tissue in-between, resulting in a faster healing process. This treatment is suitable for all skin types.

Doctor Led C02 Laser Wilmslow - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for C02 Laser

At Dr Skn, before undergoing Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, you will have a consultation which includes a medical history and physical examination, including photographs. This is an opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have. The risks associated with the treatment and post-treatment advice will also be discussed to ensure you fully understand them, and a consent form will be signed. In addition, if you are receiving treatment in a new area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III+, a topical serum or product may be needed for 4 weeks before treatment. At Dr Skn, safety and eligibility for treatment are the highest priority, so a full consultation and patch test will be performed to ensure suitability for treatment. Successful patch testing allows treatment to begin 48 hours later, but if certain medications were found during your medical history, the patch test may be extended up to 2 weeks.
