This is an opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have. In addition, if you are receiving treatment in a new area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III+, a topical serum or product may be needed for 4 weeks before treatment. Successful patch testing allows treatment to begin 48 hours later, but if certain medications were found during your medical history, the patch test may be extended up to 2 weeks.
