During the consultation, a medical history will be taken along with a physical examination, which may include photographs. This will also provide an opportunity to discuss your concerns, expectations, desired results, and any questions you may have. We will then go over any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, ensuring that you fully understand them before signing a consent form. If this is your first time receiving treatment on a particular area, a small patch test will be performed to confirm its suitability. If you have skin type III or above, you may require a topical application of serum or product for four weeks before treatment. Following a successful patch test, the treatment can be performed 48 hours later. However, if you are taking certain medications, the patch test may need to be extended up to two weeks.
