At Dr Sknn we utilise the Lynton Lumina, a state-of-the-art Intense Pulsed Light System (IPL) which is used by the NHS and private hospitals throughout the UK, to safely and effectively manage Cherry Spots on skin types I-IV. By emitting light in certain wavelength ranges, we are able to target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, enabling us to treat Cherry Spots of different sizes and depths, while causing limited damage to the adjacent skin. Following the treatment, the damaged vessels are absorbed by the body and there is very little trace of the initial lesion.
