At Dr Sknn we utilise the Lynton Lumina, a cutting-edge Intense Pulsed Light System (IPL), which is widely applied by the NHS and discreet hospitals across the UK to securely and efficiently treat Cherry Spots on skin types I-IV. By directing light in particular wavelength ranges at Dr Sknn, we target the peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, allowing us to treat Cherry Spots of differing sizes and depths without causing much destruction to the nearby skin. Post-treatment, the damaged vessels are taken up by the body and scarcely any hint of the initial lesion is left.

At Dr Sknn, we take advantage of IPL and light energy, with the light being taken in by the Cherry Spots and heating them up to a point of contraction or collapse. In the weeks that follow, the broken vessels are consumed naturally by the body, leaving little or no evidence of the initial lesion.
