During the initial consultation, a medical history will be taken, including a physical examination and photographs, to evaluate the suitability of treatment. You will also have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, and ask any questions you may have. Before the treatment, any post-treatment advice and potential risks associated with the treatment will be discussed to ensure that you have a full understanding of what to expect. In addition, if it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. If you have a skin type of III or higher, a topical application of serum or product may be necessary for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Following a successful patch test, the treatment can be administered after 48 hours. However, the patch test period may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history.
