CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment used to enhance the appearance of the skin by targeting wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This laser functions by removing a portion of the surface of the skin to stimulate collagen production and improve overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is divided into numerous tiny micro-columns and then administered to the affected area. CO2 fractional ablative laser treatment is commonly used to treat wrinkles, skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, and other skin imperfections. It is also useful in improving the appearance of stretch marks and skin laxity. This procedure is non-invasive and does not necessitate any downtime, making it a safe and effective way to minimize wrinkles and skin irregularities while enhancing skin tone and texture. This laser treatment can be used on any area of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. Results are typically visible within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser that stimulates new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. This mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm is used to treat various aesthetic concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. It improves pitting of the skin, pigmentation, pore minimisation, premature ageing, skin hyperplasia, sun-damaged skin, lines, wrinkles, and skin complexion, ultimately resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin. This laser treatment is suitable for all skin types, and the tissue in-between the laser emissions is spared, resulting in a quicker healing process.

Doctor Led CO2 Fractional Laser Lymm - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for CO2 Fractional Laser

At Dr Sknn, a thorough medical history and physical examination including photographs will be conducted during your consultation for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. This is also an opportunity for you to voice any concerns or questions you may have about the procedure, as well as discuss your expectations and desired results. Prior to treatment, any potential risks and post-treatment advice will be fully explained and a consent form will be signed. If the treatment is being performed on a new area, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. In the case of skin type III+, a topical serum or product may be required for 4 weeks before the treatment. Safety and eligibility are our top priorities, and we believe that no single approach is suitable for everyone. Therefore, we will perform a full consultation to determine if you are a suitable candidate for the treatment and conduct a patch test before proceeding. Successful patch testing will allow us to deliver the treatment after 48 hours, although the patch test period may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications are found during your medical history.
