CO2 fractional ablative laser is a laser treatment that is commonly used to improve the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. The laser works by targeting and removing a fraction of the skin's surface, stimulating collagen production, and improving overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into numerous tiny micro-columns, which are delivered to the affected area. This treatment can effectively address various skin concerns such as skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, and stretch marks. Unlike other laser treatments, CO2 fractional ablative laser is non-invasive, with no downtime required, making it a safe and effective way to reduce the appearance of skin irregularities and improve skin tone and texture. This laser treatment can be performed on any area of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. Results can usually be seen within a few weeks, and they can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser that can stimulate new skin production within the dermis and epidermis. This specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm can effectively address various aesthetic concerns, such as fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. The treatment can improve pitting of the skin, pigmentation, pore minimisation, premature ageing, skin hyperplasia, sun-damaged skin, lines, wrinkles, and skin complexion, ultimately improving the thickness and hydration of the dermis and epidermis, resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin. This treatment is suitable for all skin types, and with its methodical even pattern and precise spacing between each laser emission, the tissue in-between is spared, resulting in a faster healing process.

Doctor Led CO2 Fractional Laser Mere - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for CO2 Fractional Laser

At Dr Sknn, when you come in for a consultation for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a thorough medical history and physical examination will be conducted, including taking photographs of the area being treated. During this consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, or questions you may have about the treatment, as well as any potential risks and post-treatment advice. Before undergoing the treatment, a consent form will be signed, and if it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For those with skin types of III or higher, a topical application of serum may be necessary for four weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are our top priorities, and if you are found to be suitable for the treatment, a patch test will be performed. After a successful patch test, the treatment can be delivered within 48 hours, although patch testing may be extended to two weeks if certain medications are found during your medical history. In addition, if you have skin type III or higher, a topical product may need to be applied for four weeks prior to treatment.
