If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For patients with skin type III+, a topical application of serum may be required for 4 weeks before treatment. We understand that every patient is different, which is why we perform a full consultation and patch test to ensure eligibility. If successful, treatment can be delivered 48 hours after the patch test, although it may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications were found in your medical history. Additionally, for skin type III+ patients, a topical product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment.
