If it is the first time the area is being treated, a small patch test will be carried out to ensure that the treatment is suitable. Safety and eligibility are paramount at Dr Skn, and therefore, a patch test will be performed to determine if the treatment is suitable for you. After a successful patch test, the treatment can be carried out within 48 hours. However, if certain medications are found during your medical history, the patch testing may be extended up to two weeks.
