CO2 fractional ablative laser is a laser treatment used to improve the appearance of skin irregularities such as wrinkles and scars. This laser works by targeting and removing a fraction of the skin surface to stimulate collagen production and improve overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into thousands of tiny micro-columns and delivered to the affected area, making it a safe and effective way to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other skin irregularities. The procedure can be used on any area of the body and does not require any downtime. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment for face, neck, décolleté and body areas. Our specific mid-infrared CO2 laser is used to treat a variety of aesthetic concerns including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. The treatment improves skin complexion, resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin by allowing new skin production stimulated within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect which is delivered over the skin in a methodical even pattern with precise spacing between each laser emission, the tissue in-between is spare resulting in a faster healing process. The results of this procedure can usually be seen within a few weeks and last for several months. It is suitable for all skin types and is an effective non-invasive treatment option for anyone looking to improve the appearance of their skin.

Doctor Led CO2 Fractional Laser Sandbach - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for CO2 Fractional Laser

At Dr Sknn, our priority is your safety and eligibility for treatment with the Fractional CO2 Laser. During your consultation, which includes a medical history, physical examination and photographs, we will discuss any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have, as well as any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment. We will ensure that you fully understand these risks and have you sign a consent form before proceeding. If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For those with a skin type of III+, a topical application of serum may be necessary for 4 weeks before treatment. We understand that each person's skin is different, so a full consultation and patch test is performed prior to any treatment. If successful, we can deliver the treatment within 48 hours of the patch test. However, if certain medications were found during your medical history, the patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks.
