CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment used to enhance the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This treatment works by targeting and removing a fraction of the skin's surface, which then stimulates collagen production and improves overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into thousands of tiny micro-columns that are delivered to the affected area. This procedure can effectively treat skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, and stretch marks. Additionally, it is a non-invasive procedure that does not require any downtime, making it a safe and effective way to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other skin irregularities. This treatment can be applied to any part of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. The results of the treatment can typically be seen within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser for various body areas, including the face, neck, décolleté, and body. This specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm is used to treat various aesthetic concerns, such as fine lines, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, and enlarged pores. It improves the thickness and hydration of the dermis and epidermis, resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin. The laser emission is spaced precisely between each other, allowing spare tissue in

Doctor Led CO2 Laser Acne Scars - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for CO2 Laser Acne Scars

At Dr Skn, a consultation will be conducted before any Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. The consultation includes a medical history and physical examination which may involve taking photographs. You will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns, expectations, and ask any questions you may have. The risks associated with the treatment and post-treatment advice will also be discussed, and you will be required to sign a consent form. For new areas being treated, a patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. If you have skin type III+, a serum or product may be needed four weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility to treatment is of the utmost importance, therefore a patch test will be performed before the treatment to ensure you are suitable. Successful patch tests will allow for treatment to be delivered after 48 hours, although if certain medications are identified during your medical history, the patch testing period may be extended to two weeks. Additionally, for skin type III+, a topical application of a product may be required four weeks before the treatment.
