At Dr Skn, our consultations for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment begin with a thorough medical history and physical examination, which may include photographs. During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions you may have about the treatment, as well as your expectations and desired results. We will also discuss any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment to ensure that you have a full understanding before signing a consent form. If it is your first time having the treatment in a particular area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III or above, you may need to apply a topical product for four weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility are our top priorities at Dr Skn, so if you are deemed suitable for the treatment following the consultation and patch test, we will be able to deliver the treatment after 48 hours post patch testing. However, please note that the patch testing period may be extended to two weeks if certain medications were found in your medical history.
