CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment used to enhance the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This laser treatment targets and removes a fraction of the skin's surface, stimulating collagen production to improve overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is divided into thousands of tiny micro-columns and delivered to the affected area. The treatment is effective in treating skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, and other skin irregularities. It can also improve the appearance of stretch marks and skin laxity. Unlike other laser treatments, the CO2 fractional ablative laser is a non-invasive procedure that does not require downtime. It is a safe and effective way to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and skin irregularities, and can be used on any part of the body. Results are usually visible within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser for face, neck, décolleté, and body areas. This specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm can treat fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. The treatment ultimately improves the thickness and hydration of the dermis and epidermis, resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin.

Doctor Led CO2 Laser Acne Scars Mere - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for CO2 Laser Acne Scars

At Dr Sknn, we conduct consultations with our patients to assess their medical history, perform a physical examination including photographs and discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions they may have about Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. We prioritize safety and eligibility to the treatment, and as such, a patch test will be performed prior to the treatment to ensure suitability. Post treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment will be discussed in detail, and a consent form signed. If a patient has a skin type of III+, a topical application of serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. We take our patients' safety seriously, and if certain medications are found during their medical history, patch testing may be extended up to 2 weeks. Once a successful patch test has been completed, we can proceed with the treatment.
