Additionally, a small patch test will be performed if it's a new area being treated to confirm suitability. If your skin type is III or above, a topical serum may be required for four weeks before treatment. Safety and eligibility are a top priority at Dr Skn, as each person is unique and requires personalized care. A patch test will be performed to assess suitability, and treatment will only proceed after 48 hours following successful patch testing. However, the patch testing may be extended up to 2 weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history. If you have skin type III or above, a topical product may be necessary for four weeks before treatment.
